 ADOPT-A-CLASSROOM
We found a charity that combines our love of education, our love of children and that is based in the United States. Through Adopt-A-Classroom, we will be able to partner with classrooms in our communities all around the country to provide financial and moral support.
Teachers are true gifts to many children and parents, but they cannot always provide all of the necessary "tools" due to budget cuts in the school district and various other obstacles. We hope to provide many teachers with the assistance they need to give the children in their classrooms the well-rounded education necessary to achieve great successes.
Our advertisers will be able to donate a portion of their "advertising dollars" to a classroom of their choice, bringing our advertisers great satisfaction knowing their money is going towards an amazing program. Everyone can feel good about giving back, especially when they will see the difference it will make in the classrooms of their own choosing.
Adopt-A-Classroom has a four star Charity Navigator rating and we are proud to have them as our official charity for Kidzola Gives Back!
Adopt a Classroom can be found on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
We'd like to offer a HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors who are helping make a difference in young students' lives. Through this amazing program, our sponsors help supply essential resources to classrooms in need. Here are the stories from classrooms we've adopted:

BOOGIE WIPES for helping Melissa Mayes' 2nd grade class at Fir Grove Elementary School, Columbus, OH.
I teach in a Title I school. Many children come to school without even the most basic school supplies. I spend about $1200 a year, of my own money, meeting our supply needs. I purchase consumable materials as well as books for our class library. Additional funding would enable me to spend less of my own money on consumable materials/supplies and more on materials that can be used from year to year.

COLUMBUS STATE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER for helping Michelle Hilbert's 1st grade class at James A Harmon Elementary School, Columbus, OH.
Our classroom is full of hard working students who benefit from certain supplies that are available to them. My students are able to be more active learners through the use of write and wipe boards and markers. Additional funding in our classroom could also help students by having books to keep their math messages. These messages help to reinforce mathematical skills that are important for first graders to understand. If students have a math message notebook they can reference these instead of just taking home a math message each day. Other funding would also be used to purchase a large dry erase board so that my students and I can use it to work throughout the day but especially in math class. During this time students can share their answers and more importantly present how they got to the answer that they present. The dry erase board that we have now is just adhesive dry erase material that is falling apart

GOTRYBE for helping Angela Carico's Kindergarten class at Central Elementary School, Johnson City, TN.
Central is a small school. The majority of my students come from poverty level income. We are in great need of basic items. We have only the art supplies I bought two years ago, while teaching at another school. In the classroom we have one computer and no computer programs. The majority of books we have were purchased at the Salvation Army or yard sales.

FRITTABELLO for helping Cindy Rosso's Pre-K class at Naramake Elementary School, Norwalk, CT.
I teach a class of 19 very diverse children. We are quite academic for a kindergarten class, but enjoy creative projects also. I will buy various art supplies and crafts to enhance our learning through art. I will also buy multicultural paint, pencils and crayons for the children when drawing self-portraits. Thank you!

CREATIONS FOR FUN for helping Sonya Sumlin's class at Heyl Avenue Elementary School in Columbus, Oh.
My classroom is greatly in need of school supplies (dry erase markers, pencils, large erasers magnetic strips). Many of the children are not able to buy supplies therefore I purchase what I can myself, which is costly. We are also in need of a teacher/authors` chair as well as student chairs. Many of our chairs are wooden and very old.

MANGO'S PLACE for helping Ms. Tucker's 3rd grade class at Hawthorne Elementary School in Columbus, OH.
Thank you so much for making a difference in the lives of young people. Many of my students have no books in their homes for nightly reading. My plan is to purchase books at their level, that go back and forth, from school to home. Again, thank you!

TURNER'S ATA BLACK BELT ACADEMY for helping Ms. Beagle's kindergarten class at Arlington Park Elementary in Columbus, OH.
I teach in an inner-city kindergarten classroom in which the children are usually not able to purchase supplies. Therefore, my classroom needs dry erase markers, bins for organizing the children's tables, and small incentives along with learning center materials. The above items would enhance the children's learning by making it more hands-on.

ENVIROSPECT for helping Ms. Gaughenbaugh's 3rd grade class at Rose Hill Elementary School in Gahanna, OH.
Thanks again for your generous donation. I have chosen some items that will help my students form a stronger community of learners. I have also been involved in a dramatic inquiry approach to learning with OSU and the Royal Shakespeare Company. I chose a resource that will help students incorporate script writing and media presentations with our Shakespeare work. All this with 3rd graders!!!! Thanks again for your support.
